Meet Our Staff

Tanya joined our team in 2021 after spending 15 years in other customer service roles. Her attention to detail and helpful nature make her a great asset to all of our clients. She’s generally the first person people talk to when they call in and is always happy to help.

Amanda joined James’ team in March of 2017 and won everyone over with her friendly, understanding nature. Prior to Boise River Insurance she worked in other service-related positions; administrative assistant, customer service, pre-school teacher and bank teller. It’s easy to understand why she’s good at what she does. Amanda moved to Boise from Sunnyvale, CA, in 1990. She enjoys reading, games and puzzles, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family. Amanda’s favorite saying is, “Love is stronger than hate.”

Kayla joined our agency in February of 2015. When working with her clients, Kayla’s attention to detail and kind heart are her greatest assets. Having been born and raised in Boise she naturally enjoys hiking with her husband and black lab, Simba. She also spends time with her extended family, likes to watch movies and read. Kayla has served many meals at the Boise Rescue Mission and has traveled to the Philippines as a volunteer with Wipe Every Tear.

Amanda joined the James Stocker Group in early 2020 after spending several years in the real estate industry. Amanda is a licensed agent and her full time position is helping James Stocker Group clients with issuing new policies, making changes to existing policies, billing inquiries, and any other insurance needs our clients may have.

James joined Boise River Insurance in February of 2009 and created the James Stocker Group. After starting his insurance career at a large national company that could only offer insurance from one company James realized he could better serve his clients as an independent agent representing several companies. It was the best business decision he ever made. Now rather than trying to make everyone fit with one company he is able to match clients with the company that is right for them.

Keitra joined the James Stocker Group in 2020 after spending several years in the real estate industry. Keitra is a licensed agent and her full time position is helping James Stocker Group clients with issuing new policies, making changes to existing policies, billing inquiries, and any other insurance needs our clients may have.

Tony Joined our agency in early 2023 after running his own insurance agency in Colorado Springs for 14 years. Tony takes great pride in providing top notch service and walking his clients through their insurance policy to ensure they have the coverage they need. Tony really enjoys teaching first time homeowners about the different coverage options. In his time away from work, Tony loves playing sports and spending quality time with his wife and daughters.

Brooke joined our team in early 2024 after spending about 4 years as an agent and trainer with USAA Insurance. She loves to walk clients through their policies and make sure they understand how their coverage works. She has been a great addition to our team.
